Starwatcher's Guides
It's my opinion that there is more in heaven and earth than are dreamt of in my philosophy. Being a mystical empiricist like I am isn't an easy gig, but somebody has to do it. I'm here to try to figure out what works.

Virgo is The Critic
Virgos notice when your pictures are crooked. The Virgin is fussy, particular, and peculiar. Virgos are nervous. They correct your grammar mistakes, do your dishes, and get along well with your pets. They want to change the world. They might. They are afraid you don't like them. They are afraid they don't like themselves. They worry too much. They carry around too much guilt. There is a potential to hold people too far away because they fear the imperfect. Virgo's position in the chart indicates an area where discrimination is key, imperfection a sin, and logic dictates action. Virgo is ruled by Mercury, the messenger god planet. The Virgin's element is earth (material), and it is a mutable (adaptable) sign.
Gemini is The Communicator
The Twins are curious, gregarious, and quick. Gemini must gather information, sort it, and release it in a new and better form. The Twins are journalists by nature, with a brain for info that your database would envy. Twins gather facts, ideas, and trivia the way that beachcombers gather shells. They must have knowledge. There is a potential for fibbing. They are highstrung and prone to anxiety. They might go into hysteria if you startle them. Where Gemini appears in the chart there is a need to receive and exchange knowledge, a need for multiple activities and a lot of nervous energy. Gemini is ruled by Mercury, the messenger god planet. The Twins' element is air (intellectual), and it is a mutable (adaptable) sign.
Taurus is The Builder
The Bull is cautious and practical, seeking security. Taurus is the sign of slow accumulation. Many consider the Bull to be lazy, but ultimately the Bull is serene. They make, they build, they are. Bulls are stubborn, artistic, and humorous. There is a potential to be stuck in a rut. Anywhere Taurus is in the chart indicates a place of building, a need for peace, and a dogmatic approach. Taurus is ruled by Venus, the love goddess planet. The Bull's element is earth (material), and it is a fixed (stubborn) sign.
Aries is The Adventurer
The Ram (the symbol for Aries) is independent and aggressive, but also very intuitive. Aries needs to be first, but sometimes lacks focus. Many call Aries a leader but it is probably because we are all lagging behind this energetic, idealistic sign. There is a potential to scatter-shot their energies. Anywhere Aries is in the chart indicates independence, energy, bluntness, and confidence. Aries is ruled by Mars, the war god planet. The Ram's element is fire (energy), and it is a cardinal (leadership) sign.

Cappy, You Can Never Get Away With Anything
After the billionth mentioning of the Tiger Woods scandal (Tiger spends holidays with mistress!) I got curious about his astrological chart and pulled it up. Sun in Capricorn. Well, we need go no further. I always, always tell all of my Capricorn friends that I'm really sorry but they are never, ever going to get away with any moral or ethical lapse. Not over the long run. And that the more egregious their sins the bigger the cosmic payment will be. Prior to this the example I always used was Nixon. Now we've got Tiger.
But what motivated Tiger's moral and ethical lapses in the first place? Many people wave their hands and say that, of course, with his childhood and extraordinary success he's become convinced that he's entitled to everything. With extra helpings. It's a theory, but not one I believe in strongly. Everything we go through in this life is a test of character. All of the good things, all of the bad things. So every time we come up against a particular circumstance we have a set of predispositions (natal chart) that give us options for free will decisions. We have strengths, weaknesses, places of insight, and places of blindness. One man's billion dollars of toy money is another man's solemn responsibility for stewardship. It's not what you have, it's what you do with it.
One thing that jumps out at me is the placement of Gemini, the Twins, on the Midheaven. If I were doing a reading for someone I didn't know and saw that I would ask if they've always found people who didn't know them very well (i.e., saw them at a distance) tended to see them differently - perhaps even in a variety of ways! It hints that we should have known that there was more going on than what could be seen at a distance. The glib, clever Twins are the stage magicians of the astrological wheel, the best at having you see what they want you to see. However, although that talent sets the stage for subterfuge it doesn't explain the actual ethical lapse. You could have just used it to keep your lovely family life private.
What about you? What do you see in his chart?
